Account Executive - ESB

The sales team is responsible for driving revenue by closing new business and managing upsell opportunities, while providing insight and expertise to our customers through a consultative sales approach. Selling a sales tool to sales people is both challenging and rewarding, and we’re excited to bring on new team members who want to be a part of that endeavor.

Our ESB market (Emerging Small Business) is doing so well and expanding so quickly, that we need to hire more people to keep up with the demand! ESB reps work with businesses that have up to 50 employees as part of our inside sales team. Since these companies tend to be young and growing quickly, they are hungry to work with technology vendors to increase their productivity and are enthusiastic to speak with our consultative sales team to help them evaluate their options. This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their sales career or new to a closing role. We love to promote from within at Yesware, so career growth is on the horizon for reps starting out with us on this team, building upon and excelling at full cycle sales skills.

As an Account Executive at Yesware, you will...

  • Manage full sales cycles for ESB new business accounts from qualification to conversion
  • Nurture, expand, and upsell existing ESB customer accounts in conjunction with our customer success team
  • Source new leads through outbound prospecting activities
  • Own an individual pipeline and ongoing activity goals
  • Consult prospects on Yesware best practices and insights to provide meaningful business recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, marketing, product, and sales operations teams to optimize company sales efforts
  • Professionally represent the Yesware brand, vision, and values at all times

Our ideal candidate has...

  • 1-3 years of proven success in a sales or business development function
  • Previous experience at a startup or tech company, (specifically selling into sales orgs a big plus) 
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Resilience in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Motivation to continue to learn, grow, and improve
  • Confidence and comfort in working hands-on with technology
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding goals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Gmail, Microsoft product suite
