Inbound Sales Specialist

The Inbound Sales Specialist’s mission is to ensure that Yesware customers and prospects have a consistent, reliable, enjoyable, and useful experience when they reach out to us. This team member uses phone and chat scripts, email templates and their own knowledge about Yesware to get customers to the help that they need quickly. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the Inbound Sales Specialist will assist the Sales Team with account assignment requests, monitoring of opportunity activity and other projects as assigned.

This role is a great opportunity for a newer member of the workforce to get exposure to many functions of business including sales, operations, marketing, and customer success.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering the Yesware Sales phone line and providing the caller with the appropriate supports. This can include answering questions, connecting users with our customer experience representatives, driving callers to appropriate online resources, and qualifying larger opportunities to speak with one of our Account Executives.
  • Primary resource covering our Live Chat at Yesware. The specialist will utilize chat scripts to gather needed information to answer questions and identify larger opportunities to send along to our sales team.
  • Handles requests for information from our Contact Us webform and our Sales@ email address. The specialist will review incoming requests, forwarding support requests to our Customer Experience team, answer common questions utilizing our email templates, and qualify larger opportunities and assign them to our Account Executives.
  • This position also routes leads from our Customer Experience team and our management to Sales representatives to work on.
  • The Inbound Sales Specialist will utilize learnings from interacting with our customers to make continuous improvements to our scripts and templates.
  • Review requests from our Sales Team to have accounts assigned to them in order to prospect for possible opportunities.
  • Our Inbound Sales Specialist will monitor the activity on newly created opportunities, providing updates to the Sales Team and Sales Management if leads are not progressing in a timely manner.

Other Responsibilities

  • The Inbound Sales Specialist will provide back up support the Marketing Specialist in their lead sourcing and lead enrichment process.
  • The Inbound Sales Specialist may give demonstrations of our solution to our smaller customers by video conference.
  • Other projects will be assigned based on needs of the business and aspirations of the employee.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer facing skills
  • Confident and comfortable in working hands-on with technology
  • Self-starter, resilient, personable across multiple forms of communication.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Yesware, Google Apps, and Drift a plus.
